Who was Timothy Southern?

He was a man from Staffordshire. The late Timothy Southern was a 58 year old man.

He was a family man who was on holiday in Jamaica.

He went on the holiday with his children,sisters and other family members.

The incident which claimed the life of the 58 year old allegedly took place at the Royal Decameron Club Caribbean, in Saint Ann.

What led to Timothy Southern death?

He is said to have tried drinking all the cocktails on the hotel’s menu.

Guess what, there were 21 cocktails. It is not clear what might have motivated him to do what he did.

Loved ones and others tried reviving the 58 year old, but it was too late.

He died at the resort. He had earlier drank beer and brandy before that attempt to finish the 21 cocktails.

The late 58 year old is said to have met two other women from Canada who were trying to also finish all 21 cocktails of the hotel bar.

The cause of death of the man was later said to be that of  “acute gastroenteritis due to alcohol consumption”.
