Who is Raphael Okoe Ankrah?
He is a 40 year old man who is popularly called Okoe Killer . Okoe Ankrah is a tile setter from James town.
He is a family man. He is a married man and a father of a two week old baby.
He is said to have insulted President Akuffo Addo.
The came out in a viral video which was intercepted by the police.

The police got the video in which he utter unsavory words against the President.
Why was Raphael Okoe Ankrah remanded?
He was remanded for fear of him bolting.
However, his lawyer said his client is not a risk of flight at all.
The video came out through social media and he is now being charged with “offensive conduct conducive to breaches of the peace”.
He is due to reappear on 3oth May,2023. Ankrah is said to have admitted to the offence in the investigation.
The reason for Ankrah’s detention was also that he stand the risk of being harm by members of the public.
The prosecution also feel that Ankrah may not be in the right frame of mind and that he should undergo a mental check up.
