The suspect is a man in his 20s as seen in the picture below. He was arrested in his home which is just a mile from the spot where Heike was killed.
It is not clear what connection he had with Lauren Heike that made him kill her.
His name was not given, but police said he is the man who was in the surveillance footage released earlier.
