Shooting between rival gangs at New Mexico biker rally has left 3 dead and 5 injured according to police records.
The shooting took place around 5.00pm local time and reportedly took place outside of a retail sector of Red River.
Mayor Linda Calhoun is quoted to have said in a video that:“It was gang-related.”
None of the victims are said to be locals and there are reports that a one victim was even taken to a Denver hospital by air.
The shooting is said to be of “no threat to public safety” and that all shooters are currently in custody.

The shooters have not been named yet.

The shooting is likely to mare the “41st Annual Red River Memorial Motorcycle Rally” which is a festival promises to bring in “28,000 bikers from all different backgrounds.”
Pascualito Maestas who is the Taos Mayor is said to have “declared a civil emergency after the shooting”.
Remember that Taos which is located about 40 miles from Red River “prohibited retailers, bars, and other establishments from selling alcohol under the emergency proclamation”.
