Who is Lucia Garcia?
She is a 211 year old migrant mum. This 21 year old woman stays at Staten Island and recently gave birth.
Lucia Garcia reportedly kept her new born baby in the City hospital’s bathroom trash can.
Unbelievable, but it is true.
The most shocking part is that when they baby was discovered after it cried from the trash can and she was confronted by a nurse, the 21 year old denied it, claiming that she didn’t know she was pregnant let alone giving birth and throwing the child in a trash can.
She reportedly told the Nypost that: “I thought it was just blood,” adding that:“I didn’t know I put my baby in the trash until the nurse told me later.”
She was discovered on May 20th after she was found covered in blood at the popular Staten Island University Hospital.
The baby was found after it cried from the trash can.The baby’ mother was arrested and charged with 2 counts of assault. The specific charges included :”two counts of reckless endangerment and one count of acting in a manner injurious to a child”.
Where is Lucia Garcia new baby boy whom she threw into the trash can?
The baby was taken to NYU Langone. The baby is still in the hospital, but is now in the care of the “city’s Administration for Children’s Services”.
Lucia Garcia had a an “order of protection was also issued against her at a bedside arraignment on Monday”.
The 21 year old will next have her day in court on June 16th,2023.
Her father is Ambrosio Garcia and he is reported to have said that her daughter insisted that she was not pregnant.
Her dad brought her to the hospital because she was not well.
She said:
“I want him back. I want to take care of him. I just want my baby back.”
The baby’s father is said to have come to the room Garcia shared with her dad a number of times from his base in Manhattan.
The pair reportedly met on Facebook.
