The accident which claimed the life of this man occurred in Wilkinstown, in the Castletown area.
It reportedly happened at around 12.30pm on Tuesday.
A source told the IrishMirror that : “People the community are in shock, he was a good friend of mine and a lovely man, this is a small enough area where everyone knows each other and the news is just sinking in at the moment.
“The full details of what happened are not clear yet but it appears he ran into difficulty when he was trying to clear a baler, it is an absolute tragedy.”
“A man aged in his 30s suffered fatal injuries” , adding that “The HSA and local coroner have been notified”.
