WE will look at Aaron Keating, the man who was stabbed to death in Ongar in West Dublin.

Who was Aaron Keating?
Aaron was a man who was said to be in his 40s. He met his untimely death after he was stabbed.
He is said to have suffered from a mental health issue in the past.

The friend who did want to be named said: “Aaron suffered from an illness but he was a good man at heart. He will be missed by so many. People just cannot believe it happened to him.”
His stabbing follows a “verbal row” with a group which reportedly occurred in Ongar in West Dublin.

Aaron Keating was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown and it was at the Connolly hospital that he was pronounced dead.
His death has left the community in shock.Daniel Whooley, who is the Ongar County Councillor has bemoaned the death of the man’s death.
He said: “It’s horrific. Everyone is really taken aback by the tragedy. I don’t know what exactly happened but Aaron’s death has come as a real shock to everyone here.”
“He was a charismatic lad who was very outgoing and well liked,”
He further added that: “We have an amazing community here and his death has really come as a shock to us all. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Aaron’s family and friends on this terrible tragedy.”
Garda issued statement about Aaron Keating death, indicating that a murder probe has commenced.
Detectives have commenced murder probe over his death. They are currently gathering CCTV footage to help them unravel the circumstances surrounding his death.
His attackers were said to have left the scene on foot. Gardai statement on the murder said
“Gardaí in Blanchardstown are investigating a fatal assault that occurred on Main Street, Ongar this evening Tuesday 13th June, 2023.
“An altercation occurred between two men on Main Street, Ongar and one man, aged in his 40s was removed from the scene to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where he has been pronounced dead.”
