Who was Calystus Amoah?
He was a Lance Corporal with the Ghana Police service.
Calystus Amoah was a married man and father of one for that matter.
He has been described by his wife as dedicated and committed christian who did not joke with his prayers.
The officer who got married in 2022 passed out at the Pwalugu Police Training school in Bolga.
He passed out back in 2017.
The late Calystus Amoah was serving at the National Protection unit of the service at the Headquarters before his untimely death.
He was survived by his wife Amanda Amoah and a child as seen in the pictures below.

How was Calystus Amoah killed?
The young police officer was shot when the bullion van he was serving as an escort to was attacked.
The driver of the van had pulled up at a petrol station to refill when the bandits numbering about four came into the fuel station on motorbikes.
The robbers gave warning shots to scare away people before opening the door to the van where Calystus Amoah was. One of them shot him severally before bolting.
The robbery is said to have been done in less than two minutes.
The Ghana Police service are on a manhunt for the four who took the life of their fallen colleague prematurely.
