Who was Jessica McLoughlin ?
She was one of the two victims in the Sligo train hit who unfortunately died.
She was a woman in her 40s.
She was hit along with her aunt, one Rebecca at Ballisodare which is in Co Sligo yesterday afternoon.
“Oh why Jess. Why did they have to take you.
“Why couldn’t it of been me. You have four beautiful kids left behind.
“You didn’t deserve this.”
“Why oh why did this have to happen. My heart is broke lying in each others arms them last few moments.

Jessica was declared dead right on the train tracks when emergency service providers got to the scene.
Her aunt Rebecca said she is rather consoled by spending her last moments with her.
“I’m glad that we got to spend those last moments together though and I’ll not forget what I promised you.
“I’ll not take my back my word. I’m in bits here Jess”.
“Rest in peace my beautiful aunty, I don’t know what I’m gonna do without you you.
“You were one in a million. Never be another you.
“I love u so much sleep tight til we meet again,”
What were Jessica McLoughlin last words to her aunt?
Rebecca did not specify exactly what her aunt told her. She only said:
“I’m glad that we got to spend those last moments together though and I’ll not forget what I promised you.
“I’ll not take my back my word. I’m in bits here Jess”.
But what could a dying say, other than urging those alive to take care of her children.
It is unfortunate Jessica had to go through this and we can also wish the family well as they mourn their love one and also need time to take care of the Rebecca who is at the hospital.
The train hit which culminating into the death of Jessica Jessica McLoughlin caused
passengers in the train to be transported by buses to their destinations.
There were diversions too.
