Footballer John McKenna has died after plunging from a third floor of a balcony of a hotel.

His friends say John McKenna was a “true agent”.
He was player with Carlisle City Sunday League Premier side Scotby FC. One of his best friends is John Dixon who paid tribute to him.

Dixon wrote on social media: “Absolutely heartbroken writing this.
“One of my closest mates all the way through school.
“Wherever you went you would put a smile on someone’s face. Will be a huge miss to us all. Rest easy big man.”
The club where John McKenna also paid tribute to him. They wrote:
“Today we lost a legend, a brilliant player but an even better person.
“Never forgotten but loved always. RIP big John.”

He is said to have fallen to his tragic death at a hotel in San-Antonio.
The name of the specific hotel where Mr. McKenna was staying with a friend is Hotel Azuline.
He was declared dead at the scene.
“All lines of inquiry are being explored and it is still too early to say exactly what happened.”
A Civil Guard spokesman confirmed the incident indicating that: “A 22-year-old British man has died this morning after plunging from the third floor of a hotel in San Antonio.
“The incident is still being investigated.”
