Who was Tadgh O’Sullivan?
He was a local woodcutter. He was a family man. He was a father and a father of four for that matter.
Tadgh O’Sullivan was said to be in his 6os as his exact age was not given.
He was from the Dromina town which is just outside Charleville.
He has been described as someone with a “true character” and a “lovingly man”.
He was a famous man in his community. He made his living by cutting and selling firewood.
O’Sullivan was also into the repairing of tools.
He was survived by siblings, nieces, grandchildren and other large circle of friends.
So how did Tadgh O’Sullivan die?
He is said to have died in a workplace accident. But, what are the specifics to his death?
He was working at a timber yard at Cherry Hill,when the unfortunate incident happened. He died on the spot and was reportedly taken to CUH.
He is expected to be reposed at his hometown on Saturday between 4pm and 8pm. His burial mass will take place at “St Peter and Paul’s Church in Dromina on Sunday at 12.30pm with a service following at Shannon Crematorioum at 4pm”.
